About the Role
Join our small, senior engineering team building the next-gen DutyFree Engine. We run Laravel + PHP 8.3 with a modular monolith, multi-tenancy, and event-driven integrations to ERP / NAV systems.
You'll own end-to-end domains — designing schemas, shipping APIs, debugging production incidents, and mentoring teammates.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and ship features across our Laravel commerce platform.
- Own performance — query plans, caching strategy, observability.
- Build clean integrations to ERP / NAV / payment / loyalty systems.
- Review code, mentor mid-level engineers and raise the technical bar.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production incidents.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of backend experience in PHP (Laravel preferred) or similar.
- Solid SQL — comfortable optimizing slow queries on production-size data.
- Has shipped features end-to-end with API design, testing and rollout.
- Bonus: experience with multi-tenancy, event sourcing, or retail / commerce platforms.
